NOTES:
The WebGL version is very unoptimized as of now, and was only made as that is a requirement for the jam.
If you experience any problems, play the game in fullscreen or do consider downloading the windows version below. (GameJam_Windows.zip)

CONTROLS:

MOUSE: Aim / Shoot
R: Reload
WASD : Move
TAB: Skill menu
ESC: Kill application

DESCRIPTION:

This game was made as an entry for the Curdle Jam #25.
The jam had a deadline of 8 days, but due to my very busy work scheduele I made this game in ~19 hours.
Should I get some more free time I might push a few updates for the game, but as of now, this is all I have time for.

POST MORTEM:
Making a game in such a short time-span was an eye opening experience.
I don't know if it was my attention span making me bored, or simply the time crunch aspect, but keeping the code clean was something I gave up on before 5 hours had passed.
The game is unoptimized and not suitable to build a "real" project on, but that was by design, as I prioritized speed over quality. All in all, I am happy with the result, but ashamed of the process.

It feels weird that this pile of code and assets held together with spit and prayers is actually my first "released title".
Be advised; I am currently working on a lot cooler and less buggy games aimed to be released on both IOS, Android and PC, so if you like this project, feel free to follow my socials: VonRiddarn.

This game is so fun, I love the reload sound effect haha. There is so much content for a game jam game.

oh wao this game is really fun, I never think of one day running and screaming "I HAVE NO MONEY LEAVE ME ALONE" but I really enjoy this survival kind of game, and for the earliest submission this is really good (also you might want to tell people R is reload I thought that bullet drop from them for a while :P

Haha, oh my god!
I never realized until you said it, but I've forgotten R in the infograph!

I'll make sure to add that before saying goodbye to this project!

Thank you for playing, and thanks for the kind words!
Truly means a lot for me.

I really enjoyed this game! The upgrades feel big and impactful, and it doesn't take long to be able to get them. Very nice game, especially considering the timeframe in which it was made! Good job!

Thank you so much!
I was a bit nervous to upload the game as in my mind I was going "IT'S NOT PERFECT, DON'T DO IT".

Getting this comment from you sets my mind more at ease.
Thank you for playing!
